Our Cleaning Method

Exterior Window Cleaning

Did you know that tap water stains windows? That's why we use a specialised water filter system to remove all minerals from the water leaving your windows streak free and unstained.  

Interior Window Cleaning

Did you know most window cleaners use dish washing liquid when cleaning your windows? Dish washing liquid leaves your windows sticky & attracts dust. At iWashwindows we use a specialised soap that leaves your windows streak free & repels dust leaving your windows cleaner for longer.    

Fly-Screen Cleaning

At iWashwindows we don't cut corners. We remove your flyscreens take them out side at put them through our fly-screen washer. The results are simply amazing.   

Standard Clean

What a Standard Window Clean Includes.

​

  • A pure water fed brush on the outsides which leaves your windows shiny & streak free.

  • A squeegee on the inside windows using a special window cleaning detergent that repels dust.

  • Fly screens are removed and washed in our special Flyscreen washer machine.

  • Outside door Screens hosed in place, inside door screens wiped and brushed. (No Removal).

  • Removal of small amounts of bug marks and other stubborn marks.

  • Removal of cobwebs around window frames.

  • Inside window tracks & frames are not included in a standard clean

  • If there are any windows that are not in the photos, then a minimum fee of $20 a window will be applied.

  • Quote for Outside window cleaning only includes outside flyscreen's (not inside flyscreen's)

  • Windows that haven’t been cleaned in years (A standard clean will only get them about 75% cleaner). NO MOLD REMOVAL INSIDE OR OUT.

  • If you think your windows aren’t a standard clean, please advise before booking so we can amend the quote & allow more time, please don't ask me on the day as I have other bookings as well.

This covers everything in a standard window clean PLUS EXTRAS

  • Removal of mold on inside frames and outside wooden frames.

  • Heavily soiled or moldy window tracks.

  • Heavily saturated Fly spots.

  • Minor renovation cleans (please advise beforehand)

  • Note - No hard water stain removal on windows.

  • Dog jumping all over the windows & dog slobbers on windows.

  • Kids greasy hands & food that's baked onto the windows

  • BBQ grease on windows and frames.

  • Window that haven't been professionally cleaned within the last 2 years.

Builders Cleans

iWashwindows no longer gets involved with this kind of cleaning (Please call the builders mum to clean up after them)

  • Removal cement, silicon's, paints

  • Any Stained Windows

  • Major renovation cleans

  • sticker residual left over from previous cleans

  • Any first Clean of a new house after being built

  • Any products on windows that involve scrapping 

  • Window tint removal

Preparation Prior to arrival.

  • Prior to arrival please make sure all windows are unlocked or at least have a key ready.

  • If you have a lot of ornaments or photos on your window sills please move them to a safe place.

  • Any large items like T.V's or cabinets need to be moved to gain access to windows.

  • While I love dogs and I don't mind them at all, they have been known to damage and go to the toilet on my equipment, I will also be in and out of your gates so please keep them in a secure area. I also would appreciate it if any dog poo could be picked up before arrival. Thank you for you understanding.

  • Please pick up your dog poo

 

Extras (please advise before arrival)​

  • Cobwebbing around the outsides of house.

  • Shower Screens.

  • Heavily soiled window tracks

  • Balustrades ( Pool, Balcony, Stairs)

  • ​

  • Extra charges now apply for picking up dog poo for I can walk around your house, there is now a $50 charge that will be automatically added to the price, this also covers having to clean my gear afterwards. You can simply avoid this fee by picking your dog poo up yourself prior to arrival (I highly recommended and encourage all owners to do this)

 

Payment​

  • Preferred payment is by Eftpos on the day.

  • Please note with all CREDIT CARDS transactions there is a 2% Bank fee. Cheque and Savings No Charge.

  • Cash is also accepted but it is easier for me if you can do Eftpos (everyone has a card nowadays)

  • Cash jobs extra $30 helps to covers the extra time involved with banking & admin fees.

  • Invoicing can be arranged for commercial jobs.

  • Cancellation - Cancellations have to be given in writing either through text or email 48hrs before booked in date or full invoice for quoted work will be charged.
